The Access International success story consists of 15 years
of successfully completed power projects directly by the company and by
its principal (prior to founding it) or via affiliated special purpose project
companies (SPPs). All of these projects were funded under non (limited) recourse financial packages with the power purchase agreements (PPA) or Energy Conversion Contracts ( ECC ) as the corner stone of each financial package.
The 670 MW (gross), $ 1.2 billion Maritza East, 1 lignite fired power plant in Galabovo, Bulgaria.
Jacob Menahem, President and founder of Access International, signs the Energy Conversion Contract (ECC) for the Maritza East 1 Project with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Natzionalna Elektritcheska Kompania (NEK), Bulgarias national utility and with the chairman of Bulgarias Committee of Energy (todays State Agency for Energy and Energy Resources SAEER).

July, 2000. Daniel Menahem, Access International Vice President for Project Development, signs the PPA for our latest project in Eastern Europe. A 220MW, $250 mil., coal fired power plant. The project is being developed by Access International on behalf of a partnership with Delphos International and the Slovak Republic power plants manufacturer, SES Tlmace.
